That sounds.. simple enough? Though not sure I understand the difference between it and just watching it live.

There's a nod, some relaxation to find Yosuke's thoughts are similarly to their own. A difference from the constant telling that everything was fake and no need to worry about it anymore. ]

You can watch it from anywhere instead of in one place, mostly. That's the difference.

Maybe. I mean that whole world changed who we were mentally and physically. But was that the god? Or was that this place? We started here, right?

Maybe.. a mix of both? [ A combination of this place and the god? Though... ] With what this place pulls.. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just it entirely. A lot of explorations with the locations have been.. a lot.

No kidding. [ maze runs are... bad. ] Have you been exploring with some of the others lately? It feels like the stuff we find out there is getting worse and more personal. Especially when you can't see them half the time.

I can't really remember much about the first but.. the more recent one was definitely weird. I just remember getting.. really angry. I think it was the same for Sylus since we ended up fighting each other because of it.

[ Brings a hand to tug a little at the brim of their hat. Misses it cause blind. Awkward. ] All of my injuries afterward already scarred over.

Where'd you guys explore? Can you remember what you were angry about? [ it doesn't surprise him that the injuries have scarred over, but that makes the healing of this place even crazier. ]

It was.. the area with the statues? [ P.E.C.S ] ..We were convinced the other person had stolen something important to us.

... weird. We went there, too, and it wasn't anything like that. Wonder why they were so different.

What did you do there? I think Hien and Tsukasa were inspecting the statues.. Sylus asked to race so I joined him.

We were gonna bring Tokinaga's back with us, I think, but it felt better not to... if mostly we just disassembled a bunch of stuff for parts to bring back. You could probably ask Dahut for a whole list, he's the only one who can make anything out of all of it.

Mm, Dahut is something like a Researcher so that makes sense.. I don't know what happened with the statues, you'd have to ask them. All I know of is what went on with Sylus and I and even that is a little...

[ A small shrug. Spotty in their memory? ]

If I see them anytime soon I'll ask. It's probably not a bad idea to get an account of events from everybody since there're plenty of times people get split up while exploring. Look at what happened to you, me and Yuma that first time.

I agree. Might even help us prepare for any future explorations.

[ Though, with their own personal experience back home, preparing really doesn't do too much... ]

Yeah... I'd like to try and bea s prepared as possible, whatever that might look like now. [ they had zero way to prepare for going to that village, and look at how that all turned out.

... yes and no. No, because it doesn't offer a lot of answers to the questions I have. But yes because it's sort of nice to hear what else everyone's going through. It makes it a little easier. I don't know if it feels that way for everyone.

[ Using knowledge and what they know to their advantage, prepare themselves the best to the ability.. it's really handy but this place really seems to be making that difficult. Siffrin goes quiet as he waits for the answer, head tilting to show he's listening. Patient. And when the words come.. ]

..I think most probably feel the same. It helps with getting thoughts together. [ Which is to say it helps Siffrin at the very least. ] More so after what we went through.

I did want to say, thanks for everything. [ The help. Being someone he could rely on. Someone who likely understands more on the same level as a fellow Puppet.. ] But also, thanks for hanging in there until the end.

True. I know that's why I do it. [ so he can understand. but there's a note of surprise in his tone then. ]

You don't have to thank me for something like that. We were in it together for the long haul. You definitely helped us out a lot back there, too. But... none of us were ever gonna leave the others behind, were we?

[ in terms of team synergy they really were one of the best combinations. ]

Still.. I'd rather say it than not. [ As quiet as Siffrin normally is, not really the best with words, he still wants to get that feeling across. ]

Well... I appreciate it then. [ he can understand that, too. sometimes you need to express gratitude to make sure the people you know understand how important their actions are. ]

It was weird to think about puppets and humans as two different types of people when we all had the same goal, but... I know you felt this way, too. That we had to keep them safe because humans are so fragile. [ which... a lot happened out there. ] Elysium and Reirin are really strong here, at least. I trust them to watch out for themselves. But even so... I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from wanting to keep protecting them. And you.

[ A nod. Siffrin did feel that way. Even with their different bodies, and traits.. they were all striving for the same thing. And protecting them was all Siffrin could really think to do. Until... ]

It's the same for me. The three of you did a lot for me, and.. it's more than just returning the favor. So if there's anything I can do, you can rely on me.

[ there's noise of gratitude to that. ]

I will. For now, I think the only thing I want you to do is rest. We could both stand to use a little bit of a break to recover. [ frowning. ] Especially with your eyesight right now. Where were you trying to go, anyway? I can walk with you there.

I was mostly looking to find you guys. To check in. [ Even with their vision gone, Siffrin still worries about others more. ] Was gonna head back to my room after. Isabeau wasn't there, I don't think, so.. I should try to talk to him a little.

Think it'd be easier to call him? He could come to you and make it less of a hassle trying to find him, especially when there's still a lot of places in the maze and the Heart he could go.

Call..? Oh. Right. The compact. [ <-- Idiod that forgets it exists most of the time. ] Mm.. no, knowing him, he should back in our room. And.. I'd rather explain in person than worry him over a call.
