Well... if you're going somewhere far and different, we should do something far and different. [ a nod to the ice. we can ignore the memories that show up, surely. ]

I've come to find that sometimes going somewhere else ends up answering a lot of questions I didn't know I had.

I've been here for a while. [ which is true and a close enough answer. ] What sort of things are you interested in? We can try skating, or there're a couple of libraries, there's food, a movie theater, a lab...

[ he's also glancing at the ice to see if anything happens to show up because he has no idea how to explain that one. ]

[ He only points it out because it was a funny outlier among the ones he listed. Really he's probably thinking library or movie or... maybe he'll just walk around anyway.

Remember that story Tokinaga told you ages ago about a drowning kid. We can see that reflected on the ice, while Tokinaga just absently rubs his eyes. He thinks he's just seeing stuff. ]

Let's not worry about that. Sometimes it's easier just to walk around and see what catches your eye. We don't have to have an actual destination yet.

Both. One each. Yeah, we're close, though they both moved out after getting married.
