[ why is he so surprised? he shouldn't be. he should not be surprised by yosuke deciding this is what they're doing for now, given the low sigh in response to that groan. they've both likely daydreamed about hooking up with a hot girl and doing something like this, but it's shockingly a little easier to just envision it with a guy, too. if he thinks too hard his brain will stall a little, but for now he takes the groan as encouragement and continues as he's been doing.

there's a little bit of a ?! kind of though when ryuji's hands are up on his back, but he finds himself growing a little boneless under the kneading. careful's good. careful's fine and comfortable, even if there's a tiny disappointed whine when ryuji pulls back. hey. hey??

he tilts his head back too easily though, a little more intrigued by what ryuji thinks he's doing. the pressure to his neck is new, but it's not a bad thing. this time the sound is a soft, surprised groan of his own before tilting his head to give ryuji more room. okay, good to know his neck's a little sensitive. his fingers grip a little onto ryuji's hip when he bites, but more out of a reflex from something feeling good and not knowing what to do with his energy and less because he doesn't like it.

he thinks he should say something, and his eyes glance over to the abandoned notebook again before he just shuts them instead. in a minute... not having a voice is inconvenient, but he's fine with not talking for a second. ]

[THEY DIDN'T TALK FOR ANOTHER WEEK!!! It's fine.

Luckily, Ryuji is about as inclined to jump straight into something more as Yosuke. So he resigns himself to using his hands to feel what skin of Yosuke he can--the lower back, the sides (gently), the spin to the shoulder blades. He presses down a bit, bringing Yosuke closure so he can keep worrying Yosuke's neck for a bit. He kinda likes the sounds it gets Yosuke to make.

Then he leans back and glances up with his flushed face, giving Yosuke a moment, he guesses, to decide if he wants to still continue to make out after having his neck attacked. There isn't a single universe would he wouldn't be willing to keep making out himself. Simple brain receive simple pleasures.

Words are probably not even needed here. There's a wordless communication in these moments, and so Ryuji actually doesn't say anything for once.]

[ to be fair yosuke didn't have his voice until like tuesday or wednesday, it's fine!! just give me pardi threads.

for now though, he's far too pleased with the hands roaming over him wherever ryuji can reach and equally pleased with the lips and teeth over his neck. sounds are about the only thing he can offer in the moment, and it means every brush against his neck draws out another sigh or groan while he melts further over him.

ryuji pulls back then though and both of them are left staring at each other. words really aren't needed, though yosuke ignores the way he's just as flushed and raises an eyebrow as if to say "why did you stop?" we don't need to talk about the part where he's maybe a little hard. we also don't need to talk about the part where he's nudging against ryuji's jaw to get him to keep going. simple brain, simple pleasures. he's too tired to really think of much else, but this is comforting and easy and it feels nice. he's fine to continue or take a break and stay close. he's not moving, thanks. ]
