she has dealt with many hunger pains and sore pains in her life... it's fine. it's okay. she holds her roses both like she almost never wanted them and how she never wants to let them go. ]

That turned into something annoying.

When aren't these things kind of annoying? It's kinda good to see what's around though.

And hunger is something we can fix, so it's not the worst end. [ it's not good, but just saying. he's still wearing the glasses, but he reaches up to take them off and offer to her again. ]

All of us on our team have 'em. They were made so we could see through the fog in the Midnight Channel. I started thinking they might be useful here, too.

It's innovative in its own way. They don't stand out and are functional, a hidden in plain view tool. Whoever made them knew what they were doing.

Have you spotted anything outside the theater?

[ considering he knows the story that tsukasa is currently trying to avoid telling her he really does think this is fine. he doesn't seem to care that she puts them on, and they do probably make things look slightly more clear even without weird fog/shades/etc. ]

As much as I hate giving him credit because it'll go to his head, Teddie knew exactly what we needed. Kinda helps that he was born over in that world though, so he knew how to see already.

Couple of weeks ago when I was exploring with a couple of other guys, we found a monster that was stalking us through the fog. That was part of the reason I brought 'em along again this time.

He lived in my closet for, like, half a year. [ dry. ] We didn't know he could leave, and I don't think it ever occurred to him to try before. He's a Shadow, but he changed.

It was the only time, but it was the only time I thought to use them. I don't know why I didn't think about it earlier, they worked on our side when the fog started bleeding over, too.

I suppose to be entirely accurate, I only feel like I'm starving. I ate a proper meal earlier, so there is no way I'm really this hungry.

Also, I've been through this sort of hunger before, so I know how to handle it. It is inconvenient, but nothing more than that.

There was... this role once that I was trying to audition for. I was having trouble connecting with it, so I decided to go without food for as long as the character did in an attempt to understand him better.
