yosuke may be kind of a clumsy bitch in his normal life, but they've been training and fighting for about a year now and he knows having his persona also gives him a slight stats boost. which is to say he's immediately knives out to block the sword, pushing back before darting out of range and coming back up from behind in an aerial launch to throw down and try to strike from above.

It is, at the very least, true that he tends to hang back in the backlines. As such, his combat style is reflective of that: quick, elusive, always choosing to dodge rather than parry or engage head-on. He's bright with laughter when he sees Yosuke similarly light on his feet. It sure is different fighting against someone than fighting along with them. ]

[ i feel like i have to also mention that obnoxiously, he is actually wearing his headphones for once instead of having them around his neck. i guess the blades probably smacked ely with the flat side because he won't actually stab him, but it also means he feels the smack and there's a surprised noise. he's quick to shake it off though. ]

The downside of not having any healers on speed dial is that Elysium's a lot more cautious about drawing blood, and naturally, he's wondering if aiming for his personification might be a way of circumventing that. Scars should come from the important fights in your life, not spars. and thank you because i lose track of limbs by the fourth tag in fight threads
